Youth Meetings

It’s easier to raise strong children than it is to fix broken men.

Burn Bright travels all around the country holding meetings. Many of these meetings are geared towards children and young adults. They are made to be interesting, engaging, profound. We involve the audience. Benjamin Franklin once said ‘Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve me and I learn.’

But please allow me to let you in a secret. We are really preaching to the adults. We are just explaining things in a way that is simple enough for children to understand.

Jesus often spoke in parables. He would hold up a coin, or a rock and teach something from it. The Bible says that Jesus spoke with parables and without a parable he did not speak.

If it was good enough for Him it’s good enough for us. And let me tell you it works and get’s powerful results. Our youth meetings have sometimes been held in churches, or camps, and one year we even traveled around to public parks and put on spontaneous public meetings for children in parks who were just passing by. We had kids that spent hours and hours with us.

There are a lot of kids that need to be encouraged, that need to hear that they have value, they need to be helped to see that we should treat others the way we would want to be treated.

Imagine how powerful a single kid can be with so much life ahead of them or what they can grow up to do if they receive the right guidance.

And here is where come in. Kids don’t have wallets. Especially kids in public parks and kids that don't go to churches. If we would reach these unreached groups and make a difference in this world we have to fund the efforts.
